Artist Development

I am happy to work with artists on a one to one basis who need some direction and focus.  Developing yourself as an artist is such a personal and specific process that it requires careful planning and patience.   Therefore I offer a free consultation in person or via Skype in order to ascertain your needs.  I am able to work with anyone around the world.  Here are the different services I offer which can be mixed and matched to suit your needs.  Do have a think about what is of value to you:


Vocal Coaching
Routining your vocals to ensure great performances are paramount for any artist.  We work on: developing stamina, mapping out where to breath, what voice quality to use, what to visualise while singing and how to make a song your own.

Health Coaching 
Before turning to music I was a health, fitness and beauty practitioner so I have lots of advice to give on keeping your body in tip top condition so that it will hold out under the demands of being an artist.

Performance Coaching 
This includes me coming to gigs and rehearsals and offering constructive feedback.  Your performance includes not just what you sing but what you do and say in between songs.   My comedy improv experience comes in handy here!

Mind Mentoring
I have worked with one of the best mind mentors in the country, Jennifer Alexander and as such have learnt to overcome my own personal blocks.  Very often our thoughts and a busy mind can sabotage us from moving forward.  I can help you change negative beliefs and attitudes that might be holding you back.   

Manifestation
Have you heard of the law of attraction?  If not, then I invite you to research it.  It is a highly valuable thing to understand as it affects what you experience all day everyday.  I can help you use the law of attraction to help bring in your career goals.  Rest assured this is a totally godless approach and does not affect whatever beliefs you have. 

Music Industry Guidance
I have a good knowledge of how the music business works and can help to lift some of the mystery around what collection societies you need to register with.  I can also help to guide you as to what kind of admin tasks you need to do with regard to self releasing.  

Planning
Together we can work on image, branding, marketing, goal setting as well as building a step by step plan to help you achieve what you want.  

Songwriting Critiques/Collaboration
If you are a songwriter I can help you to develop and refine your songs by offering advice regarding lyrics, melody, chords, structure and arrangement.  I am also happy to get more involved and write with you if you wish.  

Arrangement and Production 
I use Logic to produce my own songs and have a collection of really good plug ins to create a professional sounding finish.  If you require I can work with or without you to create finished productions release ready for you to sell.  This involves the recording of vocals which I can coach you through and any organic instruments that you want to play in.  My skills are limited to programming (synths, drums, bass etc) vocals and piano.

Mixing and DIY Mastering
I am happy to mix and master any tracks that you have recorded yourself and of course any tracks that we do together will have a professional mix finish.  

Pitching and Publishing Services
As a published writer I often get high profile briefs and leads coming through.  If the songs that we write together fit any of these briefs I am happy to submit them for consideration.  



If you are unsure about what you want from our sessions don’t worry, that is what the consultation is for.  Price wise, I am very reasonable and am happy to negotiate a fee that is right for both you and me.  Please note that I am unable to work with artists who promote violence or misogyny in their work.  While I am open to many things these subjects go against my values as a human being.
