I highly recommend an app called Headspace. Becoming a mindful human being is something I teach all my students as it's a skill necessary to be able to develop your voice in the most enjoyable way. Mindfulness helps you to become aware of your body. There aren't that many nerve endings inside the larynx (unlike the skin) so you can't quite tell what's going on in there sometimes. Mindfulness helps you to develop the skill of feeling even the most subtle of movements or sensations. Headspace is a guided meditation program. Take 10 minutes a day for 10 days and the difference in your clarity, compassion and motivation will amaze you.
