YOGA FOR SINGERS - SUNDAY 8TH MAY
CLEAR BLOCKAGES & OPEN YOUR BODY FOR SINGING

- Do you feel un-grounded when you perform sometimes?
- Are you too much ‘in your head’ about an impending performance?
- Do you lack courage, self believe and inner strength?
- Does your throat or voice often feel blocked?
- Do nerves overwhelm you stopping you connecting to your heart centre?
- Do your neck, shoulders and jaw feel tight, tense and stiff when singing?
If so, perhaps you could do with learning how manage your body’s energy system a bit better. Using the same energy channelling principles as martial art experts, we will spring clean the body. Through bouncing, shaking, tapping, breathing, mindfulness and stretching to make you feel strong, couragous and open. The exercises are simple and effective and are suitable for all levels. It's not like traditional indian yoga, it's a bit more like Tai Chi. Certainly we won't be trying to get our legs behind out heads! To find out more, watch the video below.

Please don't feel shy about this, people who are drawn to this workshop are generally lovely!
"What was really good was the physical side of the workshop, I feel a closer connection to my body when I'm singing now, which when coupled with the mindfulness, makes me feel more at ease in myself. Thank you so much."" Darren Godbold.
"I cannot thank Sally and yoga for singers enough. I was left feeling rejuvenated and energised. The experience also helped me release the stubborn tension I carry in my shoulders and neck- a pain that has felt almost unshiftable! The exercises are easy to follow and you can feel the effects instantly. I’m can’t wait to practise at home and book in for my next class." Beccy Blaker
